A Redmi Note 2 Pro handset has been spotted passing through China’s TENAA, which looks to be Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2 successor that launched earlier in the year. This handset has been rumored to be heading to market for a while now, and the arrival at TENAA suggests that the time could be nice .

We don’t have a launch date or price tag for the Redmi Note 2 Pro yet, but it is likely to cost slightly more than its predecessor.
We can probably expect something in the region of 1,099 Yuan ($172) for the Pro variant, compared with 999 Yuan ($158) for the regular Note 2.
